President - Robert Jones

Robert Jones is Executive Director of Mulholland Forensics where he is
responsible for conducting computer forensic examinations, preparing clients for
litigation involving electronic discovery, and advising them on information security
matters. He has been a member of the Jacksonville InfraGard Chapter since 2000 and has
previously served as Vice-President and Secretary.

Vice President - Todd Karpel
|
|
Todd Karpel is a Senior Intelligence Officer with the US Coast Guard in
Jacksonville and serves as the main advisor to the Sector Commander. He is responsible
for defining and meeting the Commander's intelligence needs and provides the Sector
Commander with actionable intelligence of tactical value, with emphasis on speed,
agility, and coordination to support operations and decision-making. He manages and
oversees Sector intelligence programs in accordance with Coast Guard policy and provides
intelligence input and participation for coordination and conduct of contingency
exercises and operations. He has also served as CBP Officer and as MSGT / NCOIC (39th)
920th AFR, Patrick AFB.

Secretary - James Daugherty
|
|
James Daugherty, a native Floridian, first acquired his love of computers
while serving in the U.S. Army. Utilizing the G.I. Bill, Mr. Daugherty received a
degree in Network Services Technology from Daytona State College. While providing
technical support for Dell Computers, Mr. Daugherty was on staff April 26, 1999 when
the CIH (Chernobyl) virus payload was triggered. That event, and the cleanup that
followed, triggered his interest in computer security. In 2001, Mr. Daugherty began
working in the financial industry for TSYS, a major credit card processor. During his
time there, he implemented a centrally managed network antivirus, IDS, and gateway
solutions. Participating with the company's CSIRT team, he served as the primary company
contact for handling all malware related incidents. In 2004, recruited by Richard Sway,
President of the Chattahoochee Infragard chapter, Mr. Daugherty joined Infragard. After
relocating back to Florida, Mr. Daugherty later joined the Jacksonville Infragard chapter.
In 2006, he began working as a Security Engineer for Priveon Inc, a leader in Information
Security training and business solutions. In addition to systems administration duties,
he participated in the design and implementation of Priveon's "Real-World" training
environment which allows information security professionals to learn by facing real
threats within a secure environment. Mr. Daugherty is currently testing the waters of
Entrepreneurship, with his new company Itjax.com.

Treasurer - Gaylon Powers
|
|
Gaylon Powers work history covers more than 27 years in the IT industry.
His professional career with computers has evolved from working in computer operations
on medium and large systems to analyst, design, and engineering of business application
programs for local companies in the Jacksonville area. More recently, studying and
practicing computer or data forensics since 2006.
Gaylon is a Florida native, married with two school aged children and a lovely wife.
Along with serving four years in the US Air Force, he is a graduate from FJC
(FCCJ, no FSCJ) and UNF.

Membership Coordinator - Ambar Batista
|
|
Ambar Batista is a Security Audit Analyst at Stein Mart where she had been
working as a Senior Network Technician just before graduating with a Bachelor in
Information Security Systems from ITT Tech in late 2008. While working towards advancing
her career she has worked in various positions in the information technology field. At
her current position she has the responsibility of vulnerability management, PCI
compliance, incident response, forensics investigation, and manages a few servers that
security software are located on. She works very closely with all the other IT teams
to get any vulnerabilities, incidents and compliance issues resolved.
Ambar currently holds two certifications which are the CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network +.
She is currently studying for the CompTIA Security + and in the future will be working
towards CISA or CISSP.

Vice President - Robert Jones
|
Drawing on nearly twenty years of experience in law enforcement with the State of
Florida, Robert oversees the use of computer forensics as an investigative tool for the
firm. He consults with clients, plans and conducts examinations, analyzes data, and
delivers findings to attorneys, judges, corporations, and individuals. A recognized expert
in the complex field of computer forensics, Robert often delivers training and seminars to
client firms and professional associations.
Before joining Mulholland Investigation and Security Consulting, Robert worked with the
Florida Department of Banking and Finance investigating white collar crimes, such as
securities fraud, mortgage fraud, money laundering, and advance fee and other fraud
schemes. He broadened his experience as a Seized Computer Evidence Recovery
Specialist, frequently teaming with the F.B.I. and the Division of Insurance Fraud.
Robert earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice
from the University of North Florida. He has trained at the Federal Law Enforcement
Training Center (FLETC) and the F.B.I. Academy, and with the International Society of
Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE) and the International Association of Computer
Investigative Specialists (IACIS).
In addition to Certified Computer Examiner (CCE), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and
Certified Electronic Evidence Collection Specialist credentials, Robert has substantial
computer expertise as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a certified CompTIA
A+ Computer Service Technician. Robert is presently pursuing training in network
forensics.

Treasurer - Karen Gispanski
|
Mrs. Karen Gispanski is a security professional that has worked in many industries.
She holds many applicable certifications in the Networking and Computer Security fields,
including Certified Information Systems Security Professional, INFOSEC Assessment Methodology,
INFOSEC Evaluation Methodology, Cisco Certified Network Associate and Cisco Certified Network
Professional. She has a highly successful track record of designing, deploying and securing reliable,
high performance networks.
Mrs. Gispanski developed knowledge in the security and networking arena by serving in leadership roles
in the financial, medical, manufacturing and retail industries as well as working as a network security
consultant. Her experience includes security management and engineering responsibilities for complex
LAN and WAN environments, strategic planning, assessing information security risk as well as identifying
proper security controls.
In addition, Mrs. Gispanski has been a leader in the Jacksonville, FL community through participating
on the board of the Jacksonville InfraGard Members Alliance and the First Coast Citizens' Academy
Alumni Association.

Jerry McCarthy is a Security Specialist for Verizon Business Security Solutions
powered by Cybertrust, where he assist corporate accounts in Northeast Florida on all areas of
internal, external, network and telecommunications security. Major areas of focus include
professional services related to computer forensics, compliance, penetration testing, and PCI
as well as managed firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN's, UTM, and email and web content. Jerry has over
twenty years of industry experience representing manufactures and resellers of various security
products and professional services as well as technical management positions at an Internet
service provider and national financial services firm.

Obtained a graduate degree in Health Care from Central Michigan Served in various
assignments including Intelligence and Security Officer of a nuclear capable unit
in Seoul, Korea, and various other key leadership positions Completed Command and
General Staff College, US Army Airborne and Ranger Schools.
While in corporate industry, achcieved the Project Management Professional
certification and currently serve as Vice President of Operations for a major
business process outsouring organization to 8 of the 10 largest US banks.

Dennis Dormady, Chief Technology Officer & Associate Professor at Jacksonville
University keeps a balanced checkbook! His background includes serving this last
year as VP of INFRAGARD-Jax. And as CTO he works with a budget that is about 10%
of the entire University's annual budget.
He has a M.A.E from the University of Florida. He has conducted workshops on a
variety of subjects, from C++ to security and is often called on to assist with
various technology issues, both locally and nationally.
